SHOT RECIPES

"COASTAL NINJA SHOT" (warm) Ingredients: (measurements do not have to be exact) 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil (doesn't matter if hard or soft) 1 Tablespoon of Honey 1 Large lemon wedge 1/4 Teaspoon of Cinnamon 2 Tablespoons of hot water (estimate) Directions: -In a double shot glass, or small glass, mix coconut oil and hot water until liquid. -Squeeze the lemon's juice into the glass. -Add the honey and stir until it no longer sticks to the bottom. -Add the cinnamon and mix until blended. Add a tiny bit more of hot water to warm up again, and stir one last time. -DRINK IT UP! (morning and before bed, add one midday if first days of cold.) Origin: This concoction is inspired by Ecay Uno, a San Diego OG and rapper who told me to take a teaspoon of honey with cinnamon in it when I couldn't kick a sore throat a few years ago. Then, when I was pregnant, I had a sore throat and cough for over a month, and had tried everything safe. I remembered Ecay’s advice, adding the lemon and coconut oil to make it go down easier and pull the sickness out of me. Once I did that twice a day, the sore throat and cough was gone in 3 days! It taste bomb, it makes your throat feel better, and at best it gets rid of the cold and throat issues. **This, and pineapple, are a must if you have sore throat and cough!!! Do NOT give honey to children under 1-year old.

"HERBAL SHOT" (cold) Holy Basil Extract aka Tulsi (drop quantity as instructed on label) Oregano Oil (drop quantity as instructed on label) Water to almost fill shot glass Directions: Combine ingredients in shot glass and shoot!

VITALITY SMOOTHIE (Family sized) Ingredients: 2 cups coconut water (can be substituted with water) 1 cup raw Kale

1 cup raw spinach 1/2 cucumber, peeled 1-2 celery sticks

1/2 cup green grapes 1 cup of pineapple (or half/half with mango)

1/2 peeled green apple

1 Tablespoon coconut oil

1 Tablespoon raw honey 1 large (or 2 small) bananas 2 cups of ice (cut down if fruit is frozen) Directions: -Add ingredients to a Vitamix or other high power blender in the order listed. -Start at low speed, gradually increase speed to highest setting as ice begins to pull down, and then blend on high for 1 minute until completely blended and smooth. -DRINK THAT

-Can store un-drinken portion in fridge for 24hrs and blend again for 30 sec to remix. This is a green smoothie for people who don't like greens for sure! The banana, coconut and pineapple make it sweet. It will reconstruct your cells, make you feel lighter, heal and build your body. My two year old and my anti-green smoothie homies love it, and I use it instead of water to mix with the fortified baby cereal for my 1 year old. : )
